Lit Youngstown’s Fall Literary Festival will take place October 4-5 in Youngstown, Ohio, about an hour southeast of Cleveland and northwest of Pittsburgh.

The two-day creative writing conference will include readings, craft talks, workshops and panel discussions on writing, reading and editing poetry, fiction, memoir and essay. Highly acclaimed visiting faculty will share their experience and insights, and presenters from Ohio and beyond, from Michigan to Maine to Maryland, will speak on a variety of topics. This year’s theme is cultural identity in writing and publishing, and we will  engage questions of inclusion, diaspora, dialect and intersectionality.

This year’s book fair will include Cleveland Drafts Literary Festival, Grist: A Journal of the Literary Arts, Kenyon ReviewNortheast Ohio of Fine ArtsOhio Poetry Association,  Sheila-Na-Gig online/Sheila-Na-Gig EditionsSlippery Elm and Stranded Oak Press.
